Biography
DONNA KAY - “A TESTIMONY OF REDEMPTION”
Trauma. Restoration. Forgiveness. Trouble. Redemption. Triumphs. Open the Webster dictionary and when you peruse the definitions of these words, you will have the essence of singer/songwriter/speaker/lifecoach, Donna Kay. With a personal testimony that brings forth an illustration of salvation in an awe-inspiring mode, Donna Kay shares her journey with a transparent, dynamic, soulful, tell-the-truth-like-it-is, lively, and entertaining delivery through message and music; as seen on Daystar Television Network, in concert with Avalon, New Song, and Jeff Deyo, and heard on KBCU, Glory Radio, Live 365, Family Net Radio, and Outlaws 4 Christ Radio Shows to name a few.
Baring all for the world to see where she was, what she learned, and how it has redeemed her life, Dallas, Tx. native Donna Kay, passionately desires to share her testimony, to all who will listen, of how the Lord turned her biggest crisis into her biggest blessing. This testimony of redemption is now being heard “around the world” as the ministry of Donna Kay is shared not only through inspirational/motivational messages, but also through her powerful music that inspires your heart and soul, along with life coaching in the truest semblance.
On the forefront of soulful inspiration that motivates from within, her new Christian CD project “Finally Letting Go” includes not only a music CD with each song inspired by her testimony but even a bonus CD “A Testimony of Redemption” where Donna Kay personally and candidly shares her journey with the Lord. “Finally Letting Go” is a unique and rare gift of encouragement that one must experience to understand. There is an intentional message throughout this entire project that equips and inspires the listener to live on purpose with passion for Jesus Christ. This gift moves the listener forward toward bringing the realization of hope, gratitude, healing, purpose, and unconditional love.
Donna Kay won “Album of the Year” at the 2008 Momentum Awards in Nashville, Tn. and is a three-time award winner at the 2007 GMA (Gospel Music Association) National Competition at “Music in the Rockies” in Estes Park, Co. She won National Winner for Country Christian Vocal, National Runner Up for Contemporary Christian Vocal III, and Best Worship Song awarded by Worship Leader Magazine. With these accomplishments in place, Donna Kay is moving forward with a passion to lead others, through message and music, to a place of no return. Wanting to show that there is no reason to return to the hurt and pain of what has happened, but to rejoice in the future of restoration and healing. Donna Kay’s worship song “We Are One” has just been released in November of 2007 through Song Discovery, a division of Worship Leader Magazine and is reaching thousands of believers and seekers nationwide with a message of Christian unity and purpose.
Pastor John Stocks of Kaufman County Christian Center has invited Donna into his fold and states, “Donna’s infectious smile and energy are inspiring. Her presentation is not only gifted but used by the Lord to minister to every life she encounters.” Having had the opportunity to minister in a myriad of different churches and events Donna has touched many lives.
Although the earth is currently beneath her feet, Donna Kay will lead all who listen, through music and impact of her testimony, to a place that is bereft of pain, a shelter for everyone to find peace and calm. You can also experience Donna Kay through her very own “We Are One” Tour that unites and inspires youth, young adults, women, and men to live on purpose for Christ. Matthew 11:28 expresses, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Donna Kay daily lives in this truth, and welcomes you to enter into it with her.
